President: Jeremiah Palmer
Hey, I’m Jeremiah Palmer. I currently sit as the President of the SaskCACFT board. I also love being part of the team that creates continuing education events to help therapists grow and connect. I’m passionate about a systemic way of seeing the world, both in therapy and in life. To me, everything makes more sense when we understand the bigger picture of how people, relationships, and systems interact.
In my private practice role, I focus on helping people build healthier, more meaningful relationships—with others and with themselves. My background in the non-profit sector really shaped how I see human development and family dynamics, and it continues to influence the work I do with individuals, couples, and families today.
I bring a warm, grounded, and down-to-earth approach to the room, whether I’m with clients or colleagues. I live in Saskatoon with my wife and two kids, and when I’m not in session, you’ll probably find me rock climbing, boxing, or off on an adventure with my family.
If you’re curious about what the board is up to or are interested in getting involved in some way, I’d love to connect and chat more about it.

Vice President: Eric Bailey
Eric Bailey (BA Psychology, MA Religion, MMFT) is the Clinical Director at Catholic Family Services and an approved MFT supervisor/mentor. Eric started with Catholic Family Services as a school counsellor in 2014. When the opportunity arose, Eric moved into a supervisory role at the office and added clinical supervision to his work. Eric is the vice-president of the SK Branch of CACFT and was very involved in the formation of CACFT. Eric’s other work experiences include Job Consultant for individuals with cognitive impairments, IBI Instructor Therapist working with children with autism, and church pastor. Having lived across Western Canada and even Northwestern Ontario, Eric has seen some of the cultural differences between the regions and the struggles of access to services in remote locations. Eric’s strength, in many of the places he has lived and jobs he has performed, is his ability to develop relationships. Eric has been as a conference presenter, organizational leader, and sessional lecturer at the Masters level.
Eric is a husband to Erica Bailey (CPA) and father to 3 sons. Having grown up playing sports, Eric is transitioning to smaller, easier commitments like house renovations.

Member at Large: Corey Norton
Hi, I’m Corey Norton (she/her). I live and work on Treaty 6 Territory and I’ve been part of the Sask branch board for two years. In this role, I’m part of the team working on launching our new website (welcome here!) and professional development events.
In my counselling role, I’m part of a primary health care clinic where I work alongside children/youth, adults, and families. The systemic approach to counselling aligns with my values as a therapist and how I see the world. I’m passionate about accessible mental health care and our responsibility, as mental health professionals, to community care.
Outside of professional roles, I spend my time at thrift stores, public libraries, and soaking up sunshine whenever possible. I live with my husband and cat and love travelling to new (to me) places or to visit family.

Member at Large: Ryan Melin
Ryan Melin is the Team Lead for Mental Health & Addiction Services for the Sask Health Authority in the Southeast Health Networks One & Two. He is a Registered Marriage & Family Therapist and Approved Supervisor with CACFT, and is Western Canada's only accredited Eye Movement Integration Supervisor with the EMI Institute International. He both manages a private practice providing clinical supervision and provides leadership and clinical supervision for his MHAS team of 12. Having a passion for teaching and mentorship, Ryan has offered numerous workshops throughout the years, and cares deeply about the development of other service providers in the field. Ryan is valued as our last remaining board member from the original creation of the Saskatchewan Association for Marriage & Family Therapy, which was our MFT home prior to becoming the Sask Branch of CACFT.
